Common questions

Where is my progress saved?

On your device. There are no accounts, so deleting the game also deletes your coins, boats and wins, and progress doesn’t move between devices.

A map says DOWNLOAD. Why?

To keep the install small, some maps download the first time you open them. Connect to Wi-Fi and tap DOWNLOAD; each map is a one-time download. On mobile data the game waits until you tap.

The game feels slow or my phone gets warm.

Racing games work the GPU hard. WakeWars lowers its resolution automatically when your phone warms up. Closing other apps, unplugging the charger and turning off Low Power Mode or battery saver can help.

Which devices are supported?

iPhone 12 or newer on iOS, and recent Android phones with Vulkan graphics and at least 6 GB of memory.

Sound or vibration

Music, sound effects, haptics and engine rumble each have their own switch in Settings (the gear on the home screen), also reachable from the pause menu during a race.
